Location
Storbo Adventure Camp sits at the end of a peninsula, five metres from the lake, in the small village of Storbo in Swedish Lapland.
The farm of Storbonäs was built in 1910 and lovingly renovated for modern guests. The apartments occupy the old barn, the Gildehallen dining hall is set in the original 1850s stable, and the Mjødhallen bar takes over the workhorses' quarters. Outside, a large deck by the water invites you to sit by the outdoor fireplace as the moose graze beyond the fields and reindeer pass through in season. It is a genuine wilderness setting, a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding forests, lakes and fells.
